MARKOS BOTSARIS (1788 - 1823)
A Captain of the Souliotes and famous Hero of the Greek War of Independence. Courage, tenacity and excellent strategical thinking distinguished Markos Botsaris as he was made General of Western Greece, later he tore apart his military diploma to show that he didn't care for ranks, but only for the greater good of his country.
